Aardman Animations' latest film will have it's west premiere in Bristol on Sunday. 'The Pirates In an Adventure with Scientists' stars Hugh Grant and goes on general release on Monday. The special charity screening, in Aardman's home city, will raise money for the local children's hospital.

It's been a good week for Aardman Animations. Just as they launched their latest film, The Pirates In an Adventure with Scientists', the Chancellor gave them a nod in the House of Commons. George Osborne promised to provide tax breaks for animation and TV companies. Cordelia Lynch reports.
