Director of St Pauls Carnival resigns amid rows

Artistic Co-Ordinator resigns over future of St Paul's carnival in Bristol

The carnival, due to be held in July, is one of the country's biggest celebrations of Afro-Caribbean culture. But a community group objects to the way it is being run and that the main events will now be in Portland Square, outside St Paul's itself.

Artistic co-ordinator Julz Davies says he's stepping down because he says local people have not been kept informed.
