A 26-year-old man rom Gloucestershire has died after the car he was driving veered off a bridge on to a dual carriageway.

Tributes have been paid to a man from Gloucestershire who died after the car he was driving veered off a bridge onto a dual carriageway.

The 26-year-old has been named locally as Robert Massey from Cirencester.

He was air lifted to hospital after the car landed on its roof on the A429 on Friday evening.

He later died from multiple injuries.

A 25-year-old woman was also in the car and was taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

The 26-year-old from Cirencester was air lifted to hospital after the car landed on its roof on the A429 on Friday evening. He later died from multiple injuries.

A 25-year-old woman who was also in the car has fractured her pelvis and spine but is believed to be in a stable condition. She is in Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.

Gloucestershire Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
