At more than five thousand miles, this must be one of the longest distance takeaway orders ever. A small Somerset Indian restaurant is breaking new ground by helping the United Nations peace keepers in Darfur in Western Sudan.
90 curries are being sent from The Bombay King at Camerton in Somerset for Heathrow and then on to Darfur after a request from UN peacekeeping troops based in Sudan.
The curries have been produced at cost price by the restaurant's six chefs. They started work at dawn to prepare the food.
