Stroud Foodbank Soars
Over 1,000 hungry people have been fed by Stroud's Foodbank in the eight months it has been open. Latest figures from the charity show that by mid-August, it had fed 1,046 people.

Foodbank struggling to keep up with demand
An organisation which helps provide emergency food supplies for people who've hit hard times says it is busier than ever.
The Stroud Food Bank opened last December but says it now needs bigger premises and more food donations to keep up with demand.
The centre says up to 40% of those it is feeding are children.
