Postal Workers Strike Again

Postal workers at the Mead Street depot in Bedminster in Bristol have voted to strike again unless agreement is reached with Royal Mail in their dispute over working conditions.

Workers at a post office in Bristol say they are struggling to keep up with demand leaving hundreds of packages undelivered.

Postal workers at Mead Street Post Office who deliver to the BS4 and BS14 postcode areas say they are struggling to complete increased delivery rounds and were yesterday morning [Friday] they were told to take whatever mail they had at 9.30am and leave the rest.

Workers have requested a ballot for strike action.
