School children help launch speed awareness campaign
School children helped launch a new campaign today encouraging drivers in the south west to slow down. It's part of a national attempt to get the government to change the law so that the speed limit in any urban area is 20 miles an hour.
Primary school children in Bristol have been getting behind a campaign to try to reduce speed limits in built-up communities to 20mph across the South West.
Bristol has already introduced 20mph zones - the road safety charity BRAKE wants more local authorities in the region to follow suit.
