Hundreds battled wet and windy conditions in Bristol today to see the Queen who visited the city for the first time in seven years. It was part of the celebrations marking her Diamond Jubilee.
One of the locations they visited was The Gatehouse Centre in Hartcliffe, which helps hundreds of people find work and training.

Queen watches children sing in Hartcliffe
Her Royal Highness watches children sing at The Gatehouse Centre in Hartcliffe, Bristol. The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh toured the facilities, met staff and people who use the centre. The Queen also unveiled a plaque to commemorate her visit.

It is believed to be the first time the Queen has been in a moving motorhome. The monarch, who smiled as she settled into her seat facing the Duke of Edinburgh, described the van as a "real home from home".
They journeyed just 200 metres from the plant's reception to the factory warehouses.
