X Factor finalist Jahmene Douglas returned to his hometown of Swindon yesterday to switch on the town's Christmas lights.

After pressing the button and performing to the thousands of people who braved the cold weather, the 21-year-old was interviewed by our reporter Robert Murphy:

Jahmene will be competing with James Arthur and Christopher Maloney in the X Factor final on ITV1 this weekend.

X-Factor star Jahmene Douglas has taken to Twitter to thank fans for their support after the 21 year old returned to Swindon to switch on the Christmas lights. Jahmene will be competing with James Arthur and Christopher Maloney in the final of the X-Factor this weekend on ITV 1.

Jahmene pays visit to his old supermarket

X Factor finallist Jahmene Douglas has paid a visit to the supermarket where he used to stack shelves.

He was joined by judge Nicole Scherzinger and was greeted by a huge crowd of people.

Our reporter Robert Murphy was there too, and he chatted to Jahmene's mum, Mandy Wood, and his sister

ROADS: M5 - Devon - closed

The M5 is closed in both directions due to an accident involving a camper van a car between J28 (Cullompton Services) and J29 (Exeter/Honiton).

All southbound traffic is advised to leave at J28 and follow the triangle symbol via the B3181 to rejoin the M5 at J29.

Northbound traffic should leave at J29 and follow the circle symbol, also via the B3181 and rejoin at J28.
