Last-minute Christmas shoppers have benefitted from sales starting early. High streets have reported disappointing sales in the last few weeks, so many are hoping this weekend will see a late surge.

Clarks Village in Street says it's bucking the trend and business is now good after recent uncertainty because of the weather.
