Crowds have descended on high streets and shopping centres for another day of frantic bargain hunting. In Bristol, 100,000 people were shopping at Cabot Circus - almost twice as many as on a normal day.
Meanwhile, Boxing Day set a new British record for online shopping, with web sales up 17% on last year. But as Tanya Mercer reports, it didn't stop thousands hitting the shops today.

Sales are up from this time last year, with some retailers reporting by as much as 27%.

People have been queueing since 5:30am this morning for the Boxing Day sales at Cabot Circus, Bristol. The Centre Director has told ITV Westcountry they are busier earlier than usual with mens fashion going particularly well.
