Tributes to Cyclists
Mourners lined the road in silence as the bodies of two cyclists killed after an alleged hit and run passed through Hanham near Bristol. They were paying tribute to Ross and Clare Simons who were riding a tandem when they died.

I have also authorised charges of driving while disqualified; driving without third party insurance; and driving a vehicle and failing to stop after a road accident.

Nicky Lovell to appear at court tomorrow morning
A motorist was tonight charged with killing a husband and wife who died when they were knocked off their tandem bicycle.
Nicky Lovell, 38, will appear before North Avon Magistrates' Court tomorrow accused of two counts of causing death by dangerous driving.
Lovell, of Oldland Common, South Gloucestershire, has also been charged with driving while disqualified; driving without third party insurance and driving a vehicle and failing to stop after a road accident.

Person charged in connection with tandem bike deaths
Nicky Lovell, 38, was charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving in connection with the deaths of Ross and Clare Simmons, who were knocked off their tandem in Hanham, near Bristol on Sunday evening, the Crown Prosecution Service said.

Police are tonight continuing to question a 38-year-old man after an alleged hit and run killed two cyclists, Ross Simons and his wife Clare. A woman has been released on bail.
The couple lived in Hanham, just outside Bristol. Today, the community there offered its support to their grieving relatives coming to terms with their loss. Watch Richard Payne's report.
Police given more time to question man
Police have been granted more time to question a 38 year old man on suspicion of death by dangerous driving. A 35 year old woman, also arrested has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A vigil has taken place in Bristol for two cyclists who were killed following an alleged hit and run at the weekend. Husband and wife Ross and Clare Simons died after the tandem they were riding was struck by a car which was being pursued by police. They're still questioning a man.
