A £500 reward is being offered for information after more than 120 tyres were slashed in Swindon.
Cars parked on several residential streets between the town centre and Old Town were damaged in the early hours of the morning. Wiltshire Police say they are taking the matter 'extremely seriously'.
Patrols have now been increased in the area. Officers will be available to offer advice to any victims.
Councillor Rodderick Bluh has joined with the Police and Crime Commissioner, Angus Macpherson, to offer money to anyone with information that leads to a conviction.
A large number of cars parked in Swindon had their tyres slashed over night. It happened in the early hours on vehicles parked between Swindon town centre and Old Town.
This is a large scale incident of criminal damage and one we are taking extremely seriously.

Wiltshire Police has increased patrols in the area, with officers from the local Neighbourhood Policing Teams offering advice to any victims and detectives working on the investigation.
Witnesses are key to this investigation – anyone who saw anything between 2am and 5am this morning, no matter how small, should contact Wiltshire Police.
