The UK's top sand yachting enthusiasts are competing on Brean beach
The bitterly cold wind didn't deter some from getting down onto the beach today.
In fact, the wind was just what they needed for the British Land Yachting Championships.
The event brought participants from across the country to Somerset and Wesley Smith went to catch some of the action:

The two day event is being put on by Brean Land Yacht Club. Racing is due to start at 1100 on Saturday and 1000 on Sunday.
