Six teenagers from Glastonbury have been taken to hospital suffering from the effect of drug use.

Two teenagers are still in intensive care and four others in hospital after becoming seriously ill from taking drugs.

They started fitting and hallucinating at a house in Glastonbury after taking 2CB, a drug similar to ecstasy.

The teenagers were helped by their friend Jai Woods who hadn't taken the drug. Jai's mother, Kate, says her son is a hero:

Six teenagers in hospital after taking drugs

Six teenagers from Glastonbury have been taken to hospital after becoming ill from taking drugs. Two are in a serious condition.

Police were called to an address in Northload Street in the early hours of Saturday morning. The six young people were given medical attention at the scene. Three were taken to Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton and the other three to Yeovil hospital.

One man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing Class B drugs and has been released on police bail. A Police investigation is underway.
