Seven-year-old Joshua Hadfield had the swine flu vaccination three years ago, and he now falls asleep at any time.

New Research from the Health Protection Agency suggests that there is a link between the swine flu vaccine and narcolepsy in children. In fact, it makes the 14 times more likely to develop it, although only a very small number have ended up with narcolepsy.

Caroline Hadfield says her son Josh, 4, developed the condition within three months of the injection. She says he was a perfectly healthy and energetic child before the vaccination but now sleeps for 19 hours a day.
