Girl bitten by foot-long rat

A seven-year-old girl is recovering after being attacked in her bed by a foot-long rat. It left Francesca Williams with blood pouring from her face and arm.

As Richard Payne reports, her parents were woken by their daughter's screams in the middle of the night to find the rodent under the bed. It was eventually killed by the family dog.
