5 released on bail following Gloucester shooting

Five men questioned in connection with the shooting of two brothers in Tredworth have been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Armed officers arrested the men, aged between 18 and 27, on suspicion of attempted murder on Saturday night.

The two brothers were shot through the front door of their house in Falkner Street on Tuesday morning. One of the victims is still in hospital.

Five arrested over shooting of two brothers

Five men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the shooting of two brothers in Tredworth.

Armed officers arrested three Gloucester men aged 29, 26 and 21, as well as a 27 year old man from Cheltenham and an 18 year old man of no fixed abode in Barton Street and on the A38 in Quedgeley on Saturday evening. They remain in police custody.

Detectives still want to hear from the public, particularly with any information about a white Ford Transit van in Tredworth at the time of the shooting.
