Thousands of people are expected to turn out for Weston-super-Mare's Air Day today. It's held along the seafront, and entertainment includes the Avro Vulcan V bomber RAF Parachute Team, and the world-famous Red Arrows display team.

Air Day vital to Weston-super-Mare's economy

Thousands of people have braved the weather to visit Weston-super-Mare's Air Day.

It's held along the seafront, and entertainment includes the Avro Vulcan V bomber RAF Parachute Team, and the world-famous Red Arrows display team.

Organisers were hopeful that the weather wouldn't spoil an event which has become vital to the town's economy.
