Bristol's Poppy Day

Members of the armed forces and service veterans are gathering at Cabot Circus in Bristol for the city's first ever Poppy Day.

Bristol has its first ever Poppy Day

The first ever Bristol Poppy Day was held today. Members of the armed forces and service veterans gathered in the city centre to take part.

Organisers say it's being held so future generations never forget the sacrifice made by those who've died or been seriously injured in wars over the years.
