The British Red Cross has spent the night packing emergency supplies and kits at their warehouse in Bristol to send to help typhoon survivors in the Philippines.

From there the provisions will be taken to Stanstead airport, hopefully arriving at their destination by Wednesday morning.

The typhoon has left thousands without a home and many struggling to find food or water.
