The number of dangerous dogs seized in the Avon & Somerset area has risen for the third year in a row - that's according to figures obtained by ITV News. Seventy six dogs were taken from their owners last year - up from forty two in the previous twelve months.

Dog attack victims call for a change in the law

The number of dangerous dogs seized in the Avon & Somerset area has risen for the third year in a row - that's according to figures obtained by ITV News.

Seventy six dogs were taken from their owners last year - up from forty two in the previous twelve months. And more than double the number reported two years before. Victims like Claire Langlands, who was attacked by a dangerous dog in Yeovil, is calling for a change in the law.
