A bin, decorated to represent Glastonbury Festival is heading to the the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Ohio. Michael Eavis, Glastonbury Festival organiser, says it is only right that the festival is represented in the museum.
"We've been going 44 years. We've been around a long time. We've made quite an impression across the world. One million people pre-registered to buy tickets so there's a huge number of people out there who want to come so we haven't done badly have we really?"
Emily Eavis has revealed that Dolly Parton will be in the 'Legends' slot at 5 o'clock on the Sunday afternoon on the main Pyramid stage, which she says is arguably one of the biggest slots of the weekend.
"Really excited. Thrilled to be able to let it out there because this is something we've been talking about for a long time. We were always told that Dolly doesn't do festivals and we're just so happy the she's agreed to do it."
