The beginning of the end for Frenchay

It's been the beginning of the end for one the region's major hospitals today. The first patients moved out of Frenchay Hospital this morning and by the end of the month all services there will be gone.

The Barbara Russell Children's Unit was first to make the move and staff were in early to ensure the smooth transfer of young patients - and to say farewell to a place many have called a second home for years.
