A man has appeared before magistrates in Wiltshire accused of murdering a barman who was cycling home from work.
The family of Jason Voong were in court to hear him also charged with the attempted murder of a woman at the same location just weeks before.
Our Wiltshire correspondent Robert Murphy reports:-
A 28-year-old man from Swindon has been charged with murder and of attempted murder.
It follows the stabbing of 60-year-old barman Tom Rogers on Thursday 26 June on the cycle path near the town's railway station and also an attack on a 24-year-old woman in the same area on Thursday 8 May.
Jason Voong has been remanded in custody and will appear at Chippenham Magistrates Court on Thursday 3 July 2014.
