The A35 westbound in Dorchester remains closed between the Football Ground and Monkeys Jump roundabouts. It follows a serious accident involving a car and a motorbike. Police say it could be closed well into the night.

ROADS: Jack-knifed lorry closes A35 eastbound in Dorset
The A35 in Dorset is closed eastbound closed due to a jack-knifed lorry between A351 / B3067 (Bakers Arms) and A350 Blandford Road North / B3068 Blandford Road North.
The A35 is closed in both directions due to flooding between A37 / B3150 (Monkeys Jump Roundabout, Dorchester) and Longland's Lane (Winterbourne Abbas).
It's also affecting A37 between A35 / B3150 (Monkeys Jump Roundabout) and B3147. The road is closed from Dorchester to Winterbourne Abbas.
The road to Martinstown also remains closed.
First Bus Route 31 is also not running today.
The Highways Agency advise that the road could stay closed until tomorrow.
