Police investigating a fatal accident on the A435 at Gotherington this morning are appealing to a van driver who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
The motorcyclist, a 47-year-old man from Evesham, was taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol but later died.
The accident happened at around 8am this morning between a red Yamaha motorcycle and a silver Peugeot 306.
Following information from people at the scene officers believe the driver of a white van may have witnessed the collision and be able to help them with their investigation.
The van was originally described as a BT van, however the company say none of their staff were in the area at the time.
A 20-year-old man from Apperley has been arrested on suspicion of driving without due care and attention and has been further arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He currently remains in police custody.
