Wiltshire Police appeal for bank fraud information

Offenders in Corsham are opening bank accounts using the names and details of others and then attempting to steal the bank cards and documents from the victim’s post box.

Several reports have been made about this activity taking place at Beechfield House in Corsham where there is a communal post box. Police say witnesses have seen men at this address who were thought to be attempting to steal mail.

Police are looking to speak to a man in connection with the incidents. He is described as a black male, approximately 35 years old, 5ft 4 inches tall with dark hair, unshaven and wearing blue jeans and a polo shirt.
