Bus workers in Dorset and Wiltshire will be voting for possible strike action today [Wednesday]. The Transport union RMT says it will be balloting 500 members for industrial action in response to proposed changes to working conditions.
Bus workers in Devon and Cornwall will take part in two days of strike action and a two-day overtime ban in a pay dispute.
The Rail Maritime and Transport (RMT) union said strike action would be held on the 26 October and 9 November. Almost 85% of members voted in favour of strike action. Members have also been told not to work any unscheduled overtime between November 11th and 17th.
