Dorset fire service is attending a fire at a static caravan in Yetminster near Yeovil. It happened on Alton Mead Lane earlier this afternoon. FIve appliances were called to the fire which also contained around 20 gas cylinders.
It's not know if anyone was injured.
Retailers say proposals to put VAT on the sale of static caravans will be disastrous to the region's tourism industry. The Government's own calculations suggest that demand will fall by thirty per cent.
