Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery at a shop in Plymouth.
This CCTV from just after 7am on Monday 1 February shows the Co-op in Poole Park Road.
The offender entered wielding an iron bar and forced the staff to the rear of the store whilst demanding money and to be shown the safe.
The staff members were very courageous and managed to usher the offender out of the store without injury.
A potential witness dressed in a two tone blue top can clearly be seen in the CCTV footage and police are seeking to identify him as he may have vital information.

- dressed in dark clothing - dark coat with leather jacket, hoody and balaclava
- carrying a yellow plastic carrier bag

Police have released a video of a car driving into a wall in Weston-super-Mare, causing significant damage to a building.
The incident happened at Commsplus on Gazelle Road on November 22.
Two cars were seen driving around the Weston industrial estate. A red Ford Fiesta crashed into a wall, and the vehicles and their occupants fled the scene.
Police have released the below CCTV footage of four suspects they would like to speak with in connection with the damage. Anyone who recognises the men should contact Avon & Somerset Police.

Police in Weymouth are hunting thieves who stole prizes for a charity raffle, organised in memory of a woman who died of cancer.
Four people are believed to be involved in the incident at Goulds Garden Centre on 10 December.
The event was raising money for a local hospice and a children's bereavement charity.
A CCTV recording of the theft has been released.
Penzance is scrapping the use of CCTV in the town.
The town council voted to stop using the surveillance service on Monday as a way to save money.
It is thought £10,000 will be saved from their 2011/12 budget. The move has been questioned by Devon and Cornwall Police.
