Police say the owner of a dog believed to have been involved in an incident in south Bristol in which another dog was killed has come forward.
A man voluntarily attended a police station this afternoon.
This follows an Avon and Somerset Constabulary appeal for information about the incident in Malago Park, Bedminster Down, on Saturday (22 July).
Police say enquiries into this incident are continuing.

Police are appealing for information after an elderly woman was attacked by a dog in Plymouth.
The victim, who is in her seventies, was bitten by a brown Staffordshire bull terrier in the Weston Mill area of Plymouth on Saturday.
The dog was on a on a lead but pulled away from its owner and sunk its teeth into the victim’s thigh, pulling her over on to the pavement in the process.
The dog owner muttered a few words before walking off.
Police would like to speak to the dog owner and any potential witnesses to the attack.
The Staffordshire terrier is described as brown in colour with white flecks.
The owner is described as being a white woman aged around 60. She was wearing a pink jumper. Police have released a CCTV image of her.

Footage has emerged on the internet of a man apparently being bitten on the neck by a police dog. The man is lying on his front in the road when the barking dog, which is on a lead, lunges forward and appears to sink its teeth into his neck, dragging him forward a short way.
Avon and Somerset Police say the incident has been referred to their professional standards department for a thorough investigation.
Police were called to the Regent Street area of Weston-super-Mare in the early hours of Saturday morning to reports of a large fight involving a number of people. During this incident, a man was bitten by a police dog as he was being arrested.
