Organisers of a conference on unmanned aircraft have criticised protesters who claimed they were condoning the aerial bombardment of civilians. There were angry scenes in Bristol city centre earlier this month when activists picketted the annual Unmanned Systems Conference.
A spokesman said that the event had focussed on the non-military use of so-called drones. He said delegates had been subjected to aggressive and threatening behaviour.
