Eco Village to provide sustainable jobs for Plymouth

Plymouth City Council have unveiled plans to build an eco village on the outskirts of Plymouth, at Bickleigh Down. The Council will be working with developers CornerstoneZED on a project to develop zero carbon homes which will provide employment for more than 50 people.

Council Leader, Councillor Vivien Pengelly said: "...We are putting Plymouth at the forefront of the eco homes industry, creating new sustainable jobs and encouraging green businesses to use Plymouth as their base. This is exactly the type of innovative economy that we need to develop."
