Exeter earn replay at Liverpool after 2-2 draw

Goals from Tom Nichols and Lee Holmes means League Two Exeter City will head to Anfield to take on Liverpool in a replay.

The Grecians took the lead twice, firstly through Nichols in the ninth minute and then again seconds before the interval at half time.

Exeter City striker Tom Nichols says the side shouldn't underestimate Liverpool despite the many injured players on the team.

Liverpool currently have enough first team players out injured to field an alternate XI.

Tom thinks the injuries won't mean it'll be an easy game for the Grecians.

The Grecians are at home to Jurgen Klopp's team today (January 8) to be played at St James Park.
