Police are appealing for witnesses after two young people died after the car they were travelling in left the road.
The incident happened at about 8pm on Friday night (June 27) when a VW Polo left the A39 near to Farrington Gurney.
A 19-year-old woman and 21-year-old man - who were both passengers in the car - were seriously injured and died at the scene shortly afterwards.
Another passenger was taken to Southmead Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle received minor injuries.
Collision investigators are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident who may have information to help their enquiries.
There's been an accident involving a coach, a van and a car on the A37 Bristol Road in Farrington Gurney in Somerset. It happened near the Murco Garage just after 8 am. Police say that no one has been seriously hurt.
