A cloudy start to Mother's day with outbreaks of rain possibly falling as sleet over the moors. Overnight mist and fog may take a while to clear as well.
Temperatures will struggle to get above 6 or 7C in the afternoon but the main feature will be a strong easterly wind gusting up to 50 mph.

Another band of rain brings the same old result... a wet morning. Again some heavier outbreaks as well. Still very murky.
The rain just keeps on going through the afternoon. Could be as much as 20 to 40 millimetres. Temperatures on the 11 degree mark but it will feel cooler.

Very little changes this morning. Grey again with a lot of cloud, extensive hill fog and yet more outbreaks of rain.
