Plymouth Argyle have gained a new goalkeeper on an Emergency Goalkeeper Loan.

23-year-old Remi Matthews joins the team from Sky Bet Championship side Norwich City.

He made 17 appearances for Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Premiership last season.

Graduating from Norwich City Academy and playing at Norwich City Football Club from 2014, Remi has gone out on loan to League One with Burton Albion and Doncaster Rovers. He has now just signed a new contract at Norwich City.

Remi will go play in Argyle's match against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday, 21 October, wearing the 34 shirt.

The signing is subject to the normal paperwork requirements being completed satisfactorily.

Yeovil Town are playing Brentford this Sunday in the League One Play-Off Final in Wembley.

The winners will win the trophy above but most of all the winners be promoted to the Championship.
