In Swindon, the Conservatives have kept control of the council - just. They now have a majority of just one seat.
First results in from Gloucester where a third of seats are up for grabs. Labour have won 3, the Liberal Democrats have won 2 and the Conservatives 1. The council is currently controlled by the Conservatives.

Reporter Eli-Louise Wringe has confirmed the turnout in Swindon as 32%. Swindon is the only council in the West where all seats are being contested - 57 in all.
