Bag manufacturer Mulberry has submitted plans to Sedgemoor District Council for a new factory in North East Bridgwater. It's thought the factory would bring 300 jobs to the town.
Hundreds of jobs are to be created in Somerset after Mulberry announced it'll be opening a second factory in the county. The fashion giant's investing more than £7 million in the project.
It follows the company's completion of an extension of its existing factory in Shepton Mallet. It's hoped the new factory will open by December 2013 creating 300 jobs.
