Oldbury power station sends out final flask of nuclear fuel

Oldbury power station has sent out its final shipment of nuclear fuel.

The station in South Gloucestershire opened in 1967 but was shut down in 2011.

A team of more than 200 staff will decommission the site.

Site Director, Mike Heaton says it's an end of an era.

While the site is decommissioned, the reactor buildings will be kept for at least another 80 years.
