Two people have been arrested after the discovery of a 47-year-old woman’s body in Paignton on March 3.
A 48-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman, both from Paignton, were arrested on suspicion of murder and have been police bailed until 30th May 2017.
Police and ambulance were called to Church Street, Paignton, at 5.25am following concerns for the welfare of a person in the street.
Emergency services attended but the woman was declared dead at the scene.

Police are currently treating the death as unexplained and are awaiting the outcome of a forensic post-mortem.

Police say the death of a woman whose body was found in the water at Paignton Harbour is not being treated as suspicious.
Lifeboat crews and the coastguard were called to the scene at lunchtime on Wednesday 28 December and recovered the body of a woman in her 70s. She was pronounced dead at the scene soon afterwards.
Formal identification is yet to take place but the next of kin has been informed.
