Sir Tom Jones will return to Cornwall this summer to take part in a series of big-name concerts on Perranporth beach.

Just a year after playing the headline slot at the Eden Sessions the Welsh singer will play at Bands in the Sands.

The judge on ITV's The Voice will be playing all the hits – from Delilah to It's Not Unusual to Sex Bomb plus all his new, gritty blues-inflected material – on Friday, June 23.

It's just two days before he performs at Gloucester's Kingsholm Stadium.

Bands in the Sands is organised by The Watering Hole. Others announced so far are Seasick Steve on July 14, The Stranglers on July 21 and Feeder on July 28.

What busy schedule? Jeremy Corbyn stops to record wedding message in middle of campaign

Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn took time out of media interviews before a rally in Cornwall to record a clip to be played at a couple's wedding.

Hayley and Andy are getting married on Perranporth beach soon and will have a blessing played to them on their big day from Mr Corbyn.

Their friend managed to duck in while the Labour Leader was having photographs taken with people on the Cornish beach and Mr Corbyn was only too happy to oblige.
