Police thank public for help following drugs raid

Police have thanked members of the public for their help after arresting six people during a drugs raid in the Stroud and Dursley areas of Gloucestershire this morning (Thursday July 12th).

Today’s operation was part of our wider work to tackle drugs and firearms offences and to ensure that those involved in illegal activity are put before the courts. We are very grateful for the support of the local community this morning and hope that our actions today reflect the Constabulary’s commitment to combat these offences and keep the county’s streets safe.

– Chief Inspector Andy Wasley

The police are encouraging residents to continue to come forward with information about the use or supply of illegal drugs. People can contact police by dialling 101 or pass on information via Crimestoppers.
