Music festival marks start of refugee week
A year after Bristol became a City of Sanctuary, the city is marking the beginning of Refugee Week with a music festival. Artists from around the world will take to the stage in Queen Square this afternoon (Sunday.)
The aim of the event is to celebrate the cultural contribution of refugees and asylum seekers and increase understanding of what may have forced them to flee their homes and seek refuge in Bristol.
