A construction company in Cornwall is being fined on a daily basis because roadworks on a three mile stretch of road have overrun.
Kier should have completed the work on the A30 at Temple in the summer but lane closures are back in place.
Some are expected to remain along a section between Temple and Higher Carblake until early March.

Traffic is moving slower than normal through the centre of Bristol due to roadworks in the city:
- A420 Old Market Street: closed at Temple Way Underpass / Castle Street. All access to the Old Market Roundabout closed.
- A4174 Hartcliffe Way Southbound: closed due to major roadworks between Vale Lane and Novers Lane
In Cornwall there are ongoing roadworks on the A30 between Blacktor Downs Road and Millpool Lane. Drivers are being warned to expect delays
The A370 Long Ashton bypass in Bristol is closed westbound for bridge maintenance work between the Park and ride and Cambridge Batch junction until 11.30am
It is to allow work on the Yanley Viaduct to take place. Closed heading away from Bristol. The opposite side (towards Bristol) is still open and will be until 11:30 each day.
The closures start today, Monday 11 August and are expected to continue until 11 February 2015.
Diversion - for light vehicles: via Clarken Combe, Clevedon Road and down Belmont Hill. For larger vehicles: via the A369 and M5.
Planned overnight closure of the A30 westbound, from Daisymount interchange to the junction of the A30/C832 near M5 Junction 29, will take place tonight and tomorrow night.
Closures on that stretch, from 8pm to 6am each night, are to enable overhead gantry signs to be replaced over the westbound A30. Work was postponed earlier this week due to adverse weather.
