Artistic Co-Ordinator resigns over future of St Paul's carnival in Bristol
The carnival, due to be held in July, is one of the country's biggest celebrations of Afro-Caribbean culture. But a community group objects to the way it is being run and that the main events will now be in Portland Square, outside St Paul's itself.
Artistic co-ordinator Julz Davies says he's stepping down because he says local people have not been kept informed.

Carnivals artistic co-ordinator resigns
The artistic coordinator for the St Pauls Carnival has formally resigned. Julian Davis says the downsizing of the carnival means it's now "unfit for purpose".
Online petition to save carnival
An online campaign's been started to try to shake up plans for this year's St Pauls Carnival.
It was announced last week that the Bristol event will be scaled down due to lack of funds. But hundreds have signed a petition calling for a rethink.
