One of Bath's most famous landmarks was at the centre of a bomb alert today.
The bomb disposal team carried out a controlled explosion on what's thought to have been a very old incendiary device.
It was uncovered by someone clearing out one of the properties in The Circus. Police say it was destroyed as a safety precaution.
The bomb disposal team has been called to The Circus in Bath to deal with what is suspected to be a World War II incendiary.
Avon & Somerset say that it has been called out as a precaution.
