Wiltshire-based soldiers to be repatriated
The repatriation of two soldiers from a Wiltshire-based regiment killed in Afghanistan is taking place today (Thurs).
Sergeant Gareth Thursby, who was 29, and 18-year-old Private Thomas Wroe were killed by a man dressed in a local Afghan Police uniform in Helmand Province on Saturday.
They were serving with the Third Battalion, the Yorkshire Regiment. The soldiers will be repatriated to RAF Brize Norton, passing through the Memorial Garden in Carterton at around 1:30pm.

Soldiers due back after tour of duty in Afghanistan
Nearly 100 soldiers are returning to their barracks in Warminster later.
The members of 3rd Battalion, The Yorkshire Regiment have been away for six months after being deployed to Afghanistan earlier this year.
Six soldiers from the Coruna Company troop were killed when their Warrior Armoured Fighting Vehicle was caught in a single explosion while on patrol in March. The soldiers will march at the Battlesbury Barracks at 5:15 this evening.
