A collection of Cornish maritime memorabilia is expected to fetch up to £10,000 at auction. It includes a chair thought to have been used by General Eisenhower before the D Day landings and some 15th Century cannon balls. The items are from the Smugglers Cottage tearooms on the Roseland Peninsula.

Eighty historic lots of maritime memorabilia from the Smuggler's Cottage at Tolverne are up for auction on March the 1st with a guide of £10,000. They include a chair thought to have been sat on by General Eisenhower before the D Day landings.
